1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site. It operates independently from government offices. It does not store official criminal records and cannot pull records, run official background checks, or file court documents for anyone.

Its purpose is to point readers toward offices and systems that hold Cross County criminal records - including the Cross County Sheriff's Office, the Circuit Clerk, Wynne District Court, Arkansas Crime Information Center and Arkansas State Police channels, and the Arkansas Sex Offender Registry - and to identify third-party tools that may assist lawful research.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Using information from this site, or from any tool linked here, to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate against any person is prohibited and may be a crime. This applies especially to sex offender registry information: Arkansas law controls the Arkansas Sex Offender Registry and public notification system, and misuse of registry information can carry criminal consequences. Registry data exists for public safety awareness, not for vigilante action or unlawful discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

If you need a background check for any FCRA-regulated purpose, use the proper official or FCRA-compliant channel rather than this site.

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing on this site is legal advice. It explains how criminal records generally work in Cross County, but it cannot tell you how a charge, conviction, warrant, or Arkansas sealing rule applies to your situation. For that, talk to a licensed Arkansas attorney.

6. No Warranties

Everything on this site is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that:

• The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
• The site will stay up and running without interruptions
• Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
• Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Criminal records change often - charges are filed, dismissed, sealed, corrected, or updated after a disposition reaches the repository. Gaps are unavoidable. Nothing on this site should be treated as an official statement from a court, sheriff, police department, or government agency.

Clicking one of those links moves you off our platform and onto one we have no control over. We are not responsible for their content, how they handle data, what they charge, or whether their site stays online. Check their terms before using them.

All text, graphics, logos, and code on this site belong to Cross County Criminal History or its content partners. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or build on the content without written permission first.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for damages that come from using this site - including decisions made based on information found here or through any linked service.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Arkansas law, including applicable consumer-protection and records laws such as the Arkansas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, Ark. Code Ann. § 4-88-101 et seq., the Arkansas Personal Information Protection Act, Ark. Code Ann. § 4-110-101 et seq., the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act of 1967, Ark. Any legal dispute connected to use of this site must be filed in courts located within Arkansas.

We can limit or block your access to this site at any time, for any reason, with no warning.

14. Severability

If a court rules that any part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the rest stand. The problem section gets adjusted only as much as needed to make it work.
